Stoke City have confirmed the signing of Fulham midfielder Steve Sidwell on a free transfer.
The 31-year-old, who has penned a two-year contract, will officially join the Potters on July 1.
Sidwell had been linked with Queens Park Rangers and West Ham United before opting to sign with Stoke.
"Steve was much in demand following his release by Fulham and we are delighted to have won the race to secure his signature," chief executive Tony Scholes told the club's official website.
"Mark Hughes signed him for Fulham and from talking to Steve I know how much he's looking forward to working with him again."
Sidwell has spent the past three years at Fulham after joining the club from Aston Villa.
