Watford goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes has suggested that the team can achieve success under head coach Quique Sanchez Flores.
The Hornets are preparing for Premier League football for the first time since 2007 after finishing second in the Championship last season, with 11 new players arriving at Vicarage Road this summer alongside former Getafe boss Flores.
Gomes has claimed that Watford will make a positive impact in the top flight with the Spanish coach at the helm.
"He is trying to get the best from the players," Gomes told Sky Sports News. "He knows football, he is a very experienced manager and I believe we are going to do great things with him.
"With the squad we have, we have a great chance to finish high but we never know. The Premier League is difficult but we are confident we can finish in a good position."
Watford open up their Premier League campaign at Everton on Saturday.
