Novak Djokovic coasts to China Open title

Novak Djokovic thrashes Tomas Berdych 6-0 6-2 to comfortably win the China Open title.

Novak Djokovic has eased to a 6-0 6-2 victory in the China Open final over sixth seed Tomas Berdych.

Djokovic tore into his opponent in the first set and raced into a 6-0 lead in just 30 minutes.

The dominance continued in the second set as the Serbian won the first nine points to further enhance his lead.

Berdych finally managed to win a game after Djokovic had blown a Championship point, which prompted somewhat sarcastic celebrations from the Czech player.

In fact, Berdych went on to win another game before predictably conceding the title to the world number one.
