Guillermo Garcia-Lopez beats Andy Murray in straight sets at Indian Wells.

Guillermo Garcia-Lopez has defeated Andy Murray in straight sets in the second round at Indian Wells.

The Spanish underdog went toe-to-toe with the Scot in the opening set.

Saving three break-points at 3-2 down to match him game for game, Garcia-Lopez was able to break his opponent at four games apiece to serve for the set.

Maintaining his momentum, the current world number 93 broke his favoured opponent once again to begin the second set.

While the Scot was then able to twice hold serve, the Spaniard broke him to take a 5-2 lead before holding serve to seal the match.
