Bernard Tomic has booked his spot in the fourth round of Wimbledon following a 7-6 5-7 7-5 7-6 victory over Richard Gasquet on Saturday.
Both players served well in the first set as the opener headed for a tie-break, but it was Tomic that moved ahead in the match courtesy of a 9-7 score.
Gasquet responded late in the second set, however, breaking at 5-5 before serving to level the match at one-set-all.
The duo could once more not be separated in the early stages of the third set, but a break at 5-6 allowed Tomic to move 2-1 ahead against the battling Frenchman.
The fourth and what proved to be final set also headed for a tie-break, with Tomic taking it 7-5 with his third match point.
