Liverpool's Brendan Rodgers: 'We can be better'

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers believes that his side can get even better despite making a 100% start to the season.

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has claimed that his side can still improve despite making a 100% start to the season.

Liverpool have won all three of their Premier League games so far this campaign, most recently recording a memorable 1-0 victory over fierce rivals Manchester United at Anfield.

"We have to be vigilant going forward. It has been a good start but we can be better. We just need to keep getting results. We need to keep the feel-good factor going and you do that by winning games," Rodgers told the club's official website.

"We have shown in all three of our games at some stage the qualities we want. The quality of our football has been good and that commitment and desire to win games and our resilience has been there. We haven't always been at our best throughout the 90 minutes of games this season but we certainly have resilience and a way to win games.

"In this league, it is so tough, you need that. We're not worried. Our perception is what we think about ourselves. Football is very much about opinion. All we try to do here is work well, work honestly and work hard."

Rodgers will look to maintain his side's 100% start to the season when he faces his former club Swansea City tomorrow night.
