Norwich City striker Ricky van Wolfswinkel has completed his season-long loan move to Ligue 1 side Saint-Etienne.
The 26-year-old had been heavily linked with a move away from Carrow Road this summer, having failed to impress during his debut season in English football.
The Dutch international joined Norwich for a club-record fee but only scored once in 27 appearances as the Canaries were relegated from the Premier League last season.
"I can't speak highly enough about how professional Ricky has been even though he had a difficult first season at the club," Norwich boss Neil Adams told the club's official website.
"His attitude has been first class and this move represents an opportunity for him to play regularly and get back to scoring goals in the way he has done in the past. We wish him the best of luck."
Norwich begin life back in the Championship with a trip to Wolverhampton Wanderers on Sunday.
