Queens Park Rangers boss Harry Redknapp has backed his side to keep their place in the Premier League this season.
The R's currently sit two points clear of the relegation zone thanks to three wins from their last seven games.
Despite a handful of teams battling away near the foot of the table, Redknapp is convinced that his players have the right character to survive.
"We want to stay in the Premier League," Redknapp told reporters. "There's seven or eight teams in the scrap, but we're confident we will stay up.
"We've done ever so well so far this season. We've got a good group of lads in the main, who want to do well. The lads want to do well for this football club and that will give us every chance this season."
QPR are back in Premier League action on New Year's Day when they welcome Swansea City to Loftus Road.
