Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp has insisted that he doesn't make Tony Fernandes spend his money on new signings.
The Loftus Road outfit attracted attention during the January transfer window for making several big-money signings, but Redknapp has revealed that it is solely the decision of chairman Tony Fernandes when it comes to deciding on expenditure on new players.
The former Spurs boss told reporters: "I don't ask the chairman to spend his money.
"If he wants to bring a player in then so be it. As a football manager I can't make someone spend money."
Queens Park Rangers could face severe financial problems should they be relegated from the Premier League this season.
