Administrators at Glasgow Rangers have received "several indicative bids" for the Scottish Premier League champions.
Former Gers director Paul Murray heads up the Blue Knights consortium bid, while Sale Sharks owner Brian Kennedy has also made an offer for the club.
A Chicago-based consortium lodged a surprise bid for the Gers on Friday afternoon.
"We are very pleased to announce that to date we have received several indicative bids for Rangers Football Club," said a club statement. "There are complex issues to be resolved and there is no doubt they are having a bearing on the bidding process.
"At this stage we have indicative and conditional bids only. Our next step is to review more thoroughly the bids we have received and to determine which could offer the best return for creditors."
Administrators revealed that they are also expecting one more bid before the end of the weekend.
