Gareth Bale: Swansea City win was "massive"

Tottenham Hotspur winger Gareth Bale says his side's win over Swansea City was a "massive" result for them.

Tottenham Hotspur winger Gareth Bale feels that his side's win over Swansea City was a "massive" result in the context of their season.

Goals from Bale and Jan Vertonghen sealed the win for Andre Villas-Boas's side at the Liberty Stadium as they bounced back from two defeats on the spin in the Premier League.

"We knew it was going to be difficult and it was a massive win for us," Bale told the club's official website.

"We'd had a couple defeats in the Premier League and we just wanted to stop that and get our season back on track. We did that and I thought we'd thoroughly deserved the win."

Tottenham moved above Chelsea into third in the Premier League with the win over the Swans.
