Wigan Athletic full-back Maynor Figueroa has reportedly decided to leave the DW Stadium at the end of the season for a new challenge at West Ham United.
The 29-year-old, who comes to the end of his current contract in the summer, is thought to have been a target for Hammers boss Sam Allardyce, who has been in the hunt for a left-back for some time.
It is understood that Figueroa will refuse to renew his contract at Wigan and will move to Upton Park on a free transfer ahead of the 2013-14 campaign, according to the Daily Mail.
Allardyce switched his focus to the Latics player following his failure to clinch Martin Olsson from Blackburn Rovers.
