Tony Pulis hails Crystal Palace directors

Crystal Palace boss Tony Pulis believes that his board of directors should be credited if the club stays in the Premier League.

Crystal Palace boss Tony Pulis has claimed that his board of directors must be credited if the club stays in the Premier League.

The Eagles have climbed up to 12th place in the table in recent weeks thanks to a run of three consecutive wins.

Pulis believes that co-owner Steve Parrish and his colleagues should get the praise that they deserve for bringing stability to Selhurst Park following years of uncertainty.

"I'll be absolutely delighted if we can stay up," he is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News. "Especially to do it for the supporters who have been excellent at the club, and the four directors have got to take a lot of credit.

"They've bought the club when it was in a lot of trouble and they've seen it through to promotion to the Premier League. And if we do it, they deserve a lot of credit too."

Palace continue their bid for survival on Wednesday night when they travel to Everton.
