Santos forward Neymar is named Best Player of the 2011 Copa Libertadores.

Santos forward Neymar has been named as the Best Player of the 2011 Copa Libertadores in a ceremony on Thursday.

The 19-year-old pledged to give his prize money to a children's charity.

"It has been a wonderful year, but it is not over yet," he told reporters. "There is still the Brasileirao to finish on a high, and also the Club World Cup.

"It makes me very happy to help. I have been helped a great deal in my life and I know that it makes a difference. I will continue helping these kids to have a better future."

Neymar scored six times on the way to Santos's first triumph in the competition since 1963.
