Roger Federer has booked his place in the semi-finals at Indian Wells with a straight-sets win over Argentina's Juan Martin del Potro.
The world number three struck early in the first set when he broke Del Potro's second service game.
Despite some typically dynamic groundstrokes from the Argentinian, Federer was looked comfortable and was able to see out the set 6-3.
It got worse for Del Potro in the second as he was broken instantly by the Swiss.
Federer snatched another break of serve at 4-1 which allowed him to take the set 6-2 and claim the match in just over an hour.
