The agent of Xabi Alonso has played down rumours linking the Real Madrid and Spain midfielder with a move to AC Milan.
The 30-year-old enjoyed success at both club and international level last season with La Liga and European Championship titles to his name.
"Xabi is a player of Real Madrid and will continue remaining a player of the club," Luis Ignacio Ibanez Echeverria told SpazioMilan.it. "There is absolutely no truth in the interest from Milan.
"He just won the European Championship with Spain, plays in the world's best league and still has a two-year contract with Real. Why should he move?
"The real truth is Xabi Alonso will not move from Real Madrid."
Alonso joined Los Blancos from Liverpool in 2009 for around £30m.
