Manchester United are reportedly considering a summer move for Norwich City defender Ben Godfrey.
The 21-year-old has helped the Canaries secure promotion to the Premier League this season, and the East Anglian side are keen to keep the youngster at Carrow Road.
However, according to The Sun, United are ready to make an approach for the England Under-20 international in the coming months.
Former United defender Rio Ferdinand is said to have recommended the former Shrewsbury Town loanee having acted as a mentor to Godfrey during the early stages of his professional career.
The report adds that Godfrey is not actively pursuing a transfer, but the player is likely to be open to a switch to Old Trafford should United meet his valuation.
