Napoli are reportedly open to parting ways with midfielder Fabian Ruiz for €50m (£42.6m) this summer.
The 26-year-old has remained as a key player for the Naples-based side this campaign, contributing six goals and four assists from his 30 appearances in Serie A.
However, with the Spaniard having little over a year left on his contract and holding a desire to take on a new challenge, an exit at the end of the season appears likely.
According to Il Mattino, Napoli are prepared to do business for in excess of £40m with Barcelona and Real Madrid known to be admirers of the player.
The report adds that Ruiz is keen to return to his homeland, although it remains to be seen whether either of the Spanish giants will be prepared to shell out such a fee ahead of 2022-23.
Other La Liga sides are likely to take an interest in the hope that neither of their more illustrious rivals want to meet Napoli's valuation.
