Report: Sami Khedira available for cut-price fee

A report claims that Real Madrid midfielder Sami Khedira could be available for £6m in January.

Real Madrid midfielder Sami Khedira could reportedly be available for as little as £6m this January.

The German international is still widely regarded as one of the best defensive midfielders in European football, but injuries and a loss of form have harmed his appearances for Los Blancos this season.

Khedira's current deal at the Bernabeu expires at the end of the current campaign and as it stands, there is no new offer from his club.

Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has said that no players will be leaving the club in January, but according to The Metro, any bids for Khedira, who could leave on a free next summer, will be considered.

Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United are all said to be monitoring proceedings.
