Barcelona manager Tito Vilanova admits that he is interested in a number of players this summer, but refuses to comment when asked about his reported pursuit of Arsenal midfielder Alex Song.

Barcelona manager Tito Vilanova has refused to comment on his club's reported interest in Arsenal midfielder Alex Song.

The Catalan side have been linked with a proposed £15m bid for Song, but Vilanova is not willing to directly discuss the 24-year-old.

"I don't like talking about players who are not in our squad," said Vilanova.

"There are many players outside of Barca who I like and I cannot talk about them. It would be a lack of respect to other clubs."

Song, whose current contact expires in June 2015, started in 34 of the Gunners' 38 Premier League games last season.
