Kagisho Dikgacoi: 'I have no intentions of leaving Cardiff City'

Kagisho Dikgacoi hopes to become a regular under Russell Slade at Cardiff City next season, after closing in on a return to full fitness.

Cardiff City midfielder Kagisho Dikgacoi is hopeful that he can put his injury hell behind him in order to nail down a regular starting spot next season.

The South Africa international has featured just twice in the Championship for the Bluebirds since joining from Crystal Palace last summer.

Dikgacoi remains under contract in South Wales until 2017, but there have been serious questions over whether he will remain at the club as they look set to continue their cost-cutting drive over the coming months.

However, the former Fulham man has "no intentions" of jumping ship, and is eager to prove his worth to Cardiff supporters.

"I've got two years still left on my contract with Cardiff and I have no intentions of leaving," he is quoted as saying by Wales Online. "I'm nearly back from injury now and as far as I know I am in the coach's plans for next season."

Cardiff have endured a frustrating campaign under the watch of Russell Slade, but the Welsh outfit can still finish in the top half of the table should they beat Nottingham Forest on the final day.
