Real Sociedad boss David Moyes has claimed that Phil Neville has the potential to be England manager one day.
Moyes was in charge of Neville at Everton for eight years, and both now work in Spain after the 38-year-old recently became assistant manager at Valencia.
Moyes told The Telegraph: "Phil Neville could be on the road to one day, maybe, becoming the England manager. I know him closely. He was a great captain, a great leader. He's had great experience.
"After he finished playing he came back to United then he chose to take a year out and had a chance to see how the media works, which is important, and he's clever, enthusiastic and a good coach."
Neville served as a coach under Moyes at Manchester United in the 2013-14 campaign.
