Everton boss Roberto Martinez has taken a swipe at Hull City for their perceived time-wasting in Wednesday's 1-1 draw at Goodison Park.
Romelu Lukaku had fired the hosts into a 1-0 half-time lead but Sone Aluko struck on 59 minutes to restore parity.
The Toffees had the best part of half-an-hour - including six minutes of stoppage time - to grab a winner but Martinez's side ultimately came up short.
"I'm not pointing the finger at them, but I do think Hull were stopping the clock and making it difficult to get momentum," he told ESPN.
"I thought the referee rightly awarded an extra six minutes [of stoppage time].
"I'm not bitter about the way the opposition played - that is their choice. The disappointment is that the first-half performance was good enough for three points."
The Merseysiders, who went down 2-1 to Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday, sit 11th in the Premier League table.
