Everton are reportedly set to rival Feyenoord for Leeds United winger Crysencio Summerville.
After avoiding the drop on the final day of the season, the Toffees are hoping to build a team that can stay clear of danger next term.
Everton's priority will be to sign a new central striker, but they are also looking to strengthen in wide areas following the departure of Andros Townsend.
The 31-year-old, who missed the majority of last season through injury, will leave the Merseyside club when his contract expires at the end of June.
Townsend's exit leaves Sean Dyche with Demarai Gray, Dwight McNeil and Alex Iwobi as his only viable wide options.

With Everton in the market for a new winger, The Telegraph are reporting that Summerville has been identified as a potential transfer target.
The report claims that the Toffees are joined in the race by Summerville's former club Feyenoord, who can offer Champions League football after winning the Eredivisie title.
Summerville rose through the youth ranks at Feyenoord, but he left the club in 2020 without making an appearance for the senior side.
The Dutch champions want to bring the 21-year-old back to Rotterdam, with Leeds expected to sanction a sale following their relegation from the Premier League.
Summerville featured in 33 competitive matches during the 2022-23 season, scoring five goals and providing six assists.

With three years left to run on the winger's contract, the Yorkshire club are willing to entertain offers in excess of £12m.
There is a belief that interest in Summerville could increase depending on his performances at the Under-21 European Championships.
The Dutchman played nearly 70 minutes in his nation's group opener against Belgium earlier today, with neither side able to trouble the scorers in a goalless draw.
The Netherlands will face Portugal on Saturday, before they round off the group stage next Tuesday against joint-tournament hosts Georgia.
