Lyon have reportedly agreed a deal to sign French international Mathieu Valbuena from Dynamo Moscow.
The ex-Marseille star is believed to be unhappy in Russia after Dynamo failed to secure European football for this season.
According to Canal +, OL have moved nearer to completing a transfer for the 30-year-old after an offer of around €7m (£5m) was accepted.
It is thought that Valbuena may need to take a pay cut in order to facilitate a move back to Ligue 1, but the potential stumbling block of wages has been overcome.
Valbuena has made 48 appearances for France since making his international debut in May 2010.
