Manchester City attacker Leroy Sane has said that he is "really happy" at the Etihad Stadium amid suggestions that the Germany international is close to signing a new contract with the club.
Sane, 22, joined City from Schalke 04 in 2016 and has scored 29 times and registered 34 assists in 105 appearances for the Premier League champions in all competitions.
The German's future under Pep Guardiola looked to be in doubt earlier this season when he was left out of City's first four Premier League matches.
Sane has been a regular in recent months, however, and is seemingly close to agreeing a new deal with the Citizens.
"From the beginning, when I arrived here, I have been really happy. I enjoy playing with the coach and the players. They are all amazing but most importantly they are all amazing people and good characters," Sane told reporters. "I have felt really at home here since day one and of course [signing an extension] is possible."
Sane has scored six times and registered seven assists in 19 appearances for his English club this season.
