UEFA have revealed that Champions League winners Chelsea were paid a total of £47.1m in prize money for their performance in Europe last season.
Overall, £595m was shared among the 32 teams that reached the group stage.
Runners up Bayern Munich earned £32.8, while semi-finalists Barcelona and AC Milan received £31.9m and £31.4m respectively.
Manchester United won £28m - £14m less than in 2010-11 when they were beaten finalists - after failing to reach the last 16.
Champions League revenue is expected to rise by 22% over the next three seasons.
