Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Jake Livermore has insisted that the club are favourites to finish third in the Premier League this season.
Tottenham's 3-1 defeat to Manchester United on Sunday has left Arsenal just four points behind Spurs in the race for third this season.
Livermore, however, believes that Tottenham's run-in gives them the edge in the final few months of the season.
"We're confident. All we do is worry about our games and if we do our job then third place is ours. If you look at the fourth place, Arsenal's run-in is hard," the 22-year-old told London24.
"It's not going to be easy up there, but hopefully we'll have Scotty Parker and Gareth Bale back, and we'll look to push on and stick in that third place."
Livermore has made 29 appearances for Spurs this season.
