Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United are keen on signing Lille forward Jonathan David this summer, according to a report.

Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United are reportedly keen on signing Lille forward Jonathan David this summer, while Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United are also thought to be interested.

There has been widespread speculation surrounding the 24-year-old's future over the last couple of years, with a number of clubs linked with a move.

David only has little over 12 months left to run on his current deal, and he is widely expected to leave Lille during this summer's transfer window to make the next step in his career.

According to HITC, Arsenal, Chelsea, Man United, Tottenham and West Ham have all expressed an interest in bringing the Canada international to the Premier League.

The report claims that Premier League clubs have been scouting him heavily in recent weeks, and it appears likely that the striker will be heading for England at the end of the campaign.

David has again been in strong form for his French club during the 2023-24 campaign, scoring 21 goals and registering seven assists in 36 appearances in all competitions.

The forward has 14 goals in Ligue 1 this term, while he has struck 79 times in 172 matches for Lille since his arrival from Gent in 2020, in addition to providing 16 assists.

Arsenal, Chelsea and Man United will all be in the market for new strikers this summer, and David will be a low-cost option compared to the likes of Napoli's Victor Osimhen and Brentford's Ivan Toney.

Lille are fourth in the Ligue 1 table, three points behind third-placed Monaco, while they are present in the quarter-finals of the Europa Conference League, with Aston Villa their opponents.

David has scored three times in the Europa Conference League this season, while he has also played in the Champions League and Europa League during his time at Lille.

The Canadian was a Ligue 1 winner in 2020-21, meanwhile, helping his side lift the trophy with 13 goals in his first campaign at the club.

Qualifying for next season's Champions League would put Lille in a better financial position, but David is not expected to sign a new deal, so a summer exit is expected to occur.

After taking part in Sunday's league game with Brest, the forward will link up with the Canada squad for their Copa America qualifying play-off fixture with Trinidad and Tobago.
