Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong could reportedly snub a move to England to sign for Bayern Munich.
The Netherlands international was heavily linked with a move to Manchester United in the summer, while Chelsea were also interested in acquiring his services.
Although Barcelona were believed to be open to selling De Jong due to their financial issues, the Dutchman was reluctant to leave the Catalan giants, and as a result, no transfer materialised.
De Jong has managed to establish himself in the Barcelona side this season, making 17 appearances and contributing with two goals and one assist.
However, De Jong could still leave the La Liga club, and according to Spanish outlet Sport, Bayern Munich are interested in signing the midfielder.
Like Man United and Chelsea, the German champions were also linked with the 25-year-old during the summer transfer window.
The Dutchman would allegedly be open to a move to Bayern, who believe that Barcelona could be forced into a sale next summer due to their economic situation.
De Jong is currently under contract until June 2026, and in his 157 appearances for Barcelona, he has scored 15 goals and provided 19 assists.
