Manchester United to rekindle Bruno Martins Indi interest?

Manchester United are reportedly plotting to sign Porto defender Bruno Martins Indi before the January transfer window closes.

Manchester United are reportedly planning a January bid for Porto defender Bruno Martins Indi.

The 22-year-old was linked with a move to Old Trafford during the summer, shortly after he was part of Louis van Gaal's Netherlands squad at the World Cup in Brazil.

Martins Indi eventually moved from Dutch side Feyenoord to Portugal instead, but United scouts are said to have watched Porto games regularly this season to monitor his progress.

According to Portuguese newspaper Record, United will revive their interest in Martins Indi.

The report claims that Van Gaal is plotting a bid before the transfer window closes on February 2.

Southampton have also reportedly expressed an interest in signing Martins Indi.
