Roma manager Jose Mourinho is reportedly interested in signing Manchester United target Serhou Guirassy from Stuttgart next season.
The Guinean forward has earned many admirers during his time in the Bundesliga and has netted an impressive 16 goals in 11 league games this season.
The 27-year-old initially joined Stuttgart on a season-long loan, but the move was made permanent last summer.
According to Manchester Evening News, Guirassy has emerged as a prime target for several top European clubs, with Roma among those expressing significant interest.
However, the report adds that the Giallorossi will have to compete with the likes of Man United, AC Milan and Newcastle United in order to secure the signature of the forward next summer.
Man United are expected to look to strengthen their squad in the New Year, with several players currently injured and others linked with potential moves away from Old Trafford.
Although the 27-year-old currently has a contract with Stuttgart until the summer of 2026, a £15m release clause exists in his agreement, potentially paving the way for his departure next year.
During his time in Germany, Guirassy has featured in 40 matches for Stuttgart and has contributed towards 35 goals in that time.
