Wilfried Zaha: Permanent Crystal Palace return would be "great"

Wilfried Zaha suggests that he would jump at the chance to return to Crystal Palace permanently when his loan deal from Manchester United expires in the summer.

Wilfried Zaha has hinted that he would jump at the chance to rejoin Crystal Palace on a permanent basis.

The winger is currently on loan at Selhurst Park from Manchester United, who signed him from the Eagles for £10m in 2013.

He has yet to make a Premier League start for the Red Devils and Louis van Gaal's heavy spending will only limit his chances further upon his return to Old Trafford.

United are apparently looking to sell the 22-year-old and he would willingly remain with Palace if that were an option, although Zaha admits that a decision over his long-term future will have to wait until the summer.

He told reporters "Coming back to Palace would be great but that's in the future, so I'll decide then.

"The manager has come in and given everyone confidence and it has showed really. I'm happy to be playing again. I'm just glad I'm part of it and I think we can definitely stay up."

Zaha, who spent the second half of last term with Cardiff City, has scored one goal in 15 top-flight games for Palace this season.
