Newcastle United have placed a price tag of £20m on Aleksandar Mitrovic, according to a report.
The Serbia striker enjoyed a fruitful end to his domestic season, hitting 12 goals in 17 games for Fulham after his loan move in January to help the Cottagers earn promotion to the Premier League.
According to Chronicle Live, Newcastle boss Rafael Benitez wants a target man forward able to adapt to his system better than Mitrovic.
The report adds that the Magpies are nonetheless in no position to sell on the cheap and will hold out for more than Fulham's purported £15m offer for the 23-year-old.
Crystal Palace have also been linked with Mitrovic, while a number of overseas clubs have reportedly declared their interest in the World Cup-bound attacker.
