Stoke City manager Tony Pulis has revealed that he plans to use his side's upcoming weekend off to scout potential summer signings for the club.
The Potters have 11 days off due to their match against Everton being rescheduled because of the FA Cup semi-finals, and Pulis is keen to use the break productively.
"I've got a few games to watch over the weekend when I'll be flying around and looking at a few players recommended over the season," said the Stoke boss.
"The weekend off has fallen at the right time and I like to see players myself. About five of us will be getting around to see if we can find some players for next season.
"We need goals from other areas, not just up front, because we have relied on Peter Crouch too much this season. That's something we are looking at."
Stoke currently sit 12th in the Premier League, just one point behind ninth-placed Fulham.
