Wednesday's Championship predictions including West Brom vs. Sheff Utd

Sports Mole provides score predictions for all of Wednesday's Championship games, including West Bromwich Albion vs. Sheffield United.

Birmingham vs. Bournemouth (Wednesday, 7.45pm)

Having both had strong starts to the new Championship campaign, Birmingham City and Bournemouth will square off on Wednesday with three important points up for grabs.

The two sides each sit on four points from two games, as Wednesday's hosts toppled Sheffield United on the opening day while Bournemouth defeated Nottingham Forest last time out.

We say: Birmingham City 1-0 Bournemouth

While this young Bournemouth side has impressed under Parker so far, they take on an experienced and resolute Birmingham outfit who will rarely be beaten on home turf.

On this occasion, we see the Blues' experience getting them over the line against a young side, as Bowyer's men continue their impressive start to the new campaign.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Hull City vs. Derby (Wednesday, 7.45pm)

Derby County will continue to battle through the Championship season with a depleted squad on Wednesday, when they make the trip to take on newly-promoted Hull City.

The Rams were the victim of late drama as they lost narrowly to Peterborough United on Saturday, while their hosts were comfortably defeated by Queens Park Rangers.

We say: Hull City 1-1 Derby County

While Derby's thin squad is expected to struggle over the course of the season, their starting XI boasts enough talent to at least get them through the early stage of the campaign before the schedule becomes more hectic.

We see them galvanising to earn a creditable point against a Hull City side with hit confidence after suffering a thrashing last time out.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.

Middlesbrough vs. QPR (Wednesday, 7.45pm)

Middlesbrough and Queens Park Rangers square off at the Riverside Stadium on Wednesday night having both collected four points from their opening two Championship fixtures.

After draws on the first week of the campaign, victories were recorded over Bristol City and Hull City respectively over the weekend.

We say: Middlesbrough 1-2 Queens Park Rangers

With both teams high in confidence after the weekend, we expect a closely-fought contest at the Riverside Stadium.

While the home side will have the backing of their supporters, we fancy QPR's extra quality in attack to be the difference.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Nott'm Forest vs. Blackburn (Wednesday, 7.45pm)

Nottingham Forest play host to Blackburn Rovers on Wednesday evening on the back of losing two successive fixtures in the Championship.

Despite having sold star man Adam Armstrong, Blackburn make the trip to the City Ground after claiming four points from games with Swansea City and Millwall.

We say: Nottingham Forest 2-1 Blackburn Rovers

Despite their recent defeats, Forest can claim that luck has gone against them in both fixtures.

With that in mind, we feel that Hughton's side will finally get a win on the board on Wednesday night, outlasting a Blackburn side that did not rotate in the EFL Cup last week.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

West Brom vs. Sheff Utd (Wednesday, 8.00pm)

West Bromwich Albion will look to continue their bright start to the season on Wednesday night when they take on former Premier League rivals Sheffield United.

Despite playing top-tier football last season, the Blades are still looking for their first win and goal during the new Championship campaign.

We say: West Bromwich Albion 2-1 Sheffield United

Despite their poor start to the season, you have to believe that the Blades will get back on track sooner rather than later.

Nevertheless, we think that the Baggies will have too much for their opponents on Wednesday, leading us to predict a home victory by the odd goal in three.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.
