Mark Noble: 'West Ham United expecting to win'

West Ham United midfielder Mark Noble admits that the players are expecting to win games following their strong start to the season.

Mark Noble has revealed that West Ham United are heading into matches expecting to win following their strong start to the Premier League season.

The Hammers sit eighth in the Premier League table ahead of their match against Hull City this afternoon, when they will be looking for their 10th league win of the season.

The midfielder told the club's website: "We understand we're in a good league position but the pressure going out there now is that we've got to win games.

"The fans expect us to win. And not just that, we're expecting to win games as players as well, especially when we're away from home.

"When we went to Swansea, we created a lot of chances, went 1-0 up but only got a draw out of it. They've only lost there once this season so it was a good result. And then to win the cup game on penalties was a bit special. The whole vibe is different and we've got time to push on."

A win this afternoon could lift West Ham as high as sixth in the table.
