AC Milan have announced that they have sacked manager Filippo Inzaghi after just a year in the job.
The 41-year-old took charge of the Italian giants last summer following the dismissal of former Rossoneri teammate Clarence Seedorf.
Inzaghi endured a difficult season at the helm, guiding Milan to a 10th-placed finish in Serie A.
The former Milan and Italy striker won 14, drew 13 and lost 13 of his 40 matches in charge.
"AC Milan announces that it has sacked the coach of the first team, Filippo Inzaghi, who we thank for his work," a statement on the club's official website read.
Sinisa Mihajlovic, who is out of work after leaving Sampdoria at the beginning of the month, has been linked with the job at San Siro.
