AC Milan have reportedly offered Mark van Bommel a new one-year deal with the Italian club.
The 35-year-old's contract with the Rossoneri will expire at the end of the season, but according to Il Corriere dello Sport, Milan have offered him a new deal until June 2013.
It had been reported that Van Bommel was keen on a move to former club PSV Eindhoven, but it now seems likely that the Dutchman will remain in Italy.
Van Bommel joined Milan from Bayern Munich in 2011.
