Radamel Falcao "very happy" at Atletico Madrid

Radamel Falcao insists that he is focusing only on trying to win La Liga with Atletico Madrid.

Radamel Falcao has insisted that he is "very happy" to stay at Atletico Madrid and intends to see out the remaining three years of his contract.

Falcao also said that Atletico would continue to fight to win La Liga even if catching Barcelona seems unlikely.

"I have three years left on my contract at my club, I am happy and satisfied," Falcao said.

"Obviously in sporting terms I have the ambition to continue to progress and do better than this season, to keep fighting at the top of the Spanish League, the Europa League and in the semi-finals of a tournament like the Copa del Rey. I just think of Atletico.

"We will continue fighting for the League while it remains a mathematical possibility. We know it is hard because Barcelona are having a faultless season."

Atletico are nine points behind Barca.
