Memphis Depay has joined Atletico Madrid in a £2.6m move from La Liga rivals Barcelona.
The Dutch international has signed a two-and-a-half-year contract at the Wanda Metropolitano and will be unveiled as a Rojiblanco player on Friday evening.
After joining Barcelona on a free transfer, Depay scored 13 goals in 36 appearances but had fallen down the pecking order after the signings of Robert Lewandowski and Raphinha.
The 28-year old featured just four times this season, with club chiefs accusing Depay of delaying his return from injury in order to be fit for the World Cup.
Newcastle United and former club PSV Eindhoven were reported to be interested in the forward, but Diego Simeone's side have confirmed his signature.
According to reports, the deal includes an option for Barcelona to sign Belgian winger Yannick Carrasco in the future.
