Bayern Munich midfielder Javi Martinez has revealed that his recovery from a serious knee injury is "right on track".
The Spaniard tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee during a clash with Borussia Dortmund back in August and he has not featured since.
However, having undergone surgery in Colorado, the 26-year-old has insisted that he is "feeling better every day".
"We're right on track. I'm feeling better every day. I'm managing more and more exercise, and that's good for me mentally. My leg has to become healthy, and my head has to stay healthy," he told the club's official website.
Although there has been no official timescale placed on Martinez's return to action, it has been suggested that he could be available for selection again before the end of the season.
