Celtic end Stuart Armstrong interest?

Celtic are understood to have dropped their interest in Dundee United midfielder Stuart Armstrong.

Celtic have reportedly ended their interest in Dundee United midfielder Stuart Armstrong.

The Scottish champions are understood to have made multiple bids for the 22-year-old during the January transfer window, but they have failed to agree a fee.

As a result, Celtic have now finished their pursuit of the youngster, according to Sky Sports News.

The Scotland Under-21 international has also been linked with a move to Premier League strugglers Burnley.

Armstrong has scored six goals in 24 games for United so far this season.
