Chelsea are reportedly readying a £36m bid for PSV forward Hirving Lozano this month.
Maurizio Sarri has previously hinted that he is looking to bring in wide attacking reinforcements during the January transfer window, and Lozano is understood to be near the top of his list of potential targets.
The 23-year-old has already scored 15 goals across all competitions to help PSV to the top of the Eredivisie table, and Calciomercato reports that Chelsea are now lining up an official approach.
The Blues have already secured the £58m signature of Christian Pulisic this month, but he will spend the remainder of the season on loan at Borussia Dortmund before linking up with Chelsea in the summer.
Sarri is keen for more immediate forward options, although he is likely to face competition for Lozano's signature from AC Milan and Napoli.
Lozano featured at last summer's World Cup for Mexico, where he was one of their standout performers and scored one goal in his four appearances.
