Fulham have confirmed that Mahamadou Diarra has returned to the club on a free transfer until the end of the season.
The Mali international midfielder spent just over a year at Craven Cottage before being released in summer 2013.
The 32-year-old's former teams include Lyon, Real Madrid and Monaco.
"Diarra's short-term contract with Fulham will see his remuneration based on the number of appearances he makes for the first team," read a statement on Fulham's official website.
Fulham continue their battle for Premier League survival on Sunday when they entertain Everton.
