Italy manager Antonio Conte has claimed that his team are heading in the right direction, as they continue their preparations for Euro 2016.
The Azzurri will attempt to bounce back from their recent defeat to Belgium when they take on Romania on Wednesday evening, and Conte has revealed that he is confident of a positive result.
"Tomorrow I hope to see a continuation of what we saw in Belgium," Conte told reporters.
"That means a team that knows what to do both in and out of possession. On Friday little moments went against us, we had a few lapses and paid dearly.
"The path we're on is the right one. Tomorrow we're ready to play a good match and continue what we saw in Belgium."
Italy booked their spot at next summer's European Championship without losing any of their group matches.
