West Ham United are reportedly fearful that Manchester United could end up blocking a move for Jesse Lingard.
The England international enjoyed a stellar six months on loan at the London Stadium, chipping in with nine goals and five assists as West Ham sealed Europa League qualification.
Lingard's long-term future remains unclear, although David Moyes has expressed his desire to keep him on the books as the Hammers prepare for continental competition.
However, The Sun reports that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is determined to keep hold of the attacker, and Man United will attempt to stop any efforts to prise him away this summer.
Lingard himself has spoken out about how he will "take away" the memories from his time at West Ham, seemingly hinting that he will not be linking up with Moyes's side again.
The 28-year-old's Red Devils deal expires at the end of next season, and he failed to make a single Premier League appearance for the club during the first half of the 2020-21 season.
