Free agent Sylvan Ebanks-Blake has reportedly been training with League One side Preston North End.
The 28-year-old, whose most successful years came at Wolverhampton Wanderers between 2007 and 2013, has been without a club since leaving Ipswich Town in the summer.
According to the Lancashire Evening Post, Ebanks-Blake trained with the Lilywhites for three days last week in a bid to get fit and hopefully impress the coaches.
He has also trained with Brentford, Oldham Athletic and Bradford City this season since being released by Ipswich, where he made just two starts and scored no goals in an injury-hit season.
