Barcelona boss Luis Enrique believes that Lionel Messi and Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo are the two best players in the history of the sport.
Former Portugal international Luis Figo claimed earlier this week that he had "possibly" played with better players than the pair, but Enrique believes that they are the top two.
The Spaniard, however, also insisted that Ronaldo "is a step beneath" Messi.
"I don't think there have been any better players than Cristiano or Messi. Not in my era or any before," he told reporters. "I've always said that the best player I've ever seen, without any doubt, is Leo Messi. Cristiano is a step beneath."
Ronaldo won the latest Ballon d'Or last Monday.
