Denis Cheryshev has revealed that he is "really happy" at Valencia and is open to the possibility of extending his stay at the Mestalla beyond the end of the season.
The Russian international joined Valencia on loan from Real Madrid in the January transfer window and has scored twice in five league appearances for Gary Neville's team.
As it stands, the 25-year-old will return to the Bernabeu this summer, but he would be "delighted" if Valencia wanted to extend the move.
"I'm really happy here. Everybody has made me feel very welcome. But what happens at the end of the season doesn't depend a hundred percent on me, more on [Real] Madrid. I prefer just to enjoy this now," Cheryshev told AS. I've been here a short time and I have a lot of things to improve. I'd be delighted if Valencia wanted me to stay."
Cheryshev only made two league appearances for Real Madrid in the first half of the season.
